Here's a thought or two... I tried something once in a previous incarnation of the PAdarkAlternative Yahoo group that may inspire you.

In the Database section that Yahoo offers--simpy because it left me with enough options to pull it off--I set up a list of members with cars (with contact info, notes of smoking/non, number of seats in car... plus how many seats were taken at present time).  I also made a separate list of members looking for a ride.  Folks needing a ride could contact the person making the post, or vice-versa.

It was a rather primitive, but it served the purpose for a 3 hr roadtrip.  It's just a matter of setting up a table that users can add their input.  Maybe someone could adapt something similar... or use PAdarkAlternative to set it up.  (That's why the group is there!)  The only drawback I see with a regular, recurring event is folks not keeping it up-to-date.

ps. Has anyone considered giving the taxi company a headsup to maybe just HANG OUT outside the club near closing time?  They'd certainly be guaranteed some passengers, right?)  And usually the reputation of goth-club freaks being well-behaved, good-tippers will get things accomplished.
