This digest was sent out Friday night but I didn't have time to read it until late Sunday... so it looks like I missed the blowjobs.
Great posts this time 'round from Kelly-A, Alex, Brian, et.al. Thx a bunch--except for rubbing in that I missed the Diatribe show all those years ago! There is something to be said for both sides of the too-big-for-britches argument. And don't forget to ask Turner about breaking keyboards in-transit and the cost to replace them, even on mini-tours. Sure, bands need to pay their dues on the tour circuit, but the circuit seems to be disappearing--are bands just compensating for longer drive-times? This discussion was intended to help figure out the whys and try to keep it from getting worse and everyone's comments help.
To Christopher: your events should be exciting and r/evolutionary in their own way, not static! Bad monkey! =) I mean, as a dj who prefers ambient, I probably want a lowkey night even more than most, but...
Ray, thx for the site update--this discourse has accomplished something tangible. You might also do well to tactfully incorporate a "last updated" date into the sig on each page as it's updated, rather than just the main page. (Would help for users and the site lords.) Also, still no band listing or linkage for REIN[FORCED]--formerly FORCED--www.rein-forced.com
