Baby Dee is a cabaret-pop performer who plays harp and piano, and is a 
touring member of apocalpytic-folk legends Current 93. She was first 
discovered by Antony Hegarty of Mercury Prize-winning NYC cabaret 
artists Antony & the Johnsons. He recommended her to David Tibet, who 
released Dee's first CD on the Durtro label.

Members of Coil, Psychic TV, and Antony & the Johnsons play on her new 
CD 'Safe Inside the Day', which is on famed indie label Drag City 
Records, and is co-produced by Will Oldham (Bonnie Prince Billy) and 
Matt Sweeney (of Chavez).

This is an unmissable performance for fans of Tom Waits, Rasputina, 
Joanna Newsom, and Antony Hegarty.
One of the members of her touring quartet is John Conteras, who some 
might remember was also in Scottish band Sorrow when they played the 
Oakand Beehive (during the Low Sunday release party).
