PA Anti-gay bill passes committee

I've tried really hard to see it a different way, to not think of it as an "anti-gay" bill.  But I just can't do it....

  The  PA House Government Committee just voted out HB 2381, the anti-LGBT,  anti-family constitutional amendment that would prohibit recognition of  same-sex marriage and all unmarried relationships in the Commonwealth.  It now goes to the full House for an up or down vote. This was done  WITHOUT any hearing on the issue!

  This is absolutely insane.  Not that I'm a huge proponent of  marriage  as a "legal" institution to begin with--personally, I think marriage  should be a religious institution and that 100% separation of Church  and State should be engaged on this issue.  That said, I just  can't for the life  of me see what these people are AFRAID of.  Pennsylvania is rough  enough to live in--just in terms of art and music culture (ie. the lack  thereof)... but this insanity of ORGANISED DISCRIMIATION is just beyond  belief!!!
