this older goth likes to dance

I don't want to give away my age here, but I have to disagree about the
older goths not being into the danceable stuff. It's more a matter of--
what we prefer to dance to is not what the youngens like dancing to.

I made one of my rare appearances at Ceremony last Sat.--DJ Imperium
was one of the DJs and he tends to play older stuff--and I had a great
time dancing. My friends, who also fall into the "elder" goth (30+) age
group also had a great time dancing. At times, it seemed like we were
the only ones out there dancing. However, I do know a great deal of
younger people who prefer dancing to the older stuff, too.

I don't like dancing to the stompy stompy music. I like listening to
it, and I will actually go to see live industrial shows, but I'd rather
not hear too much of that stuff at Ceremony (a few songs interspersed
throughout the evening is ok; actually hearing a broad VARIETY of
genres is what I would prefer, rather than solid hours of just one type
of thing.)

I don't go to Ceremony to drink. I can find cheaper places to drink.
