I'm inclined to largely agree with this assessment, especially that a
21+ drinking age is counterproductive.

Being that ours is a music-oriented scene, I don't think it's quite
the same as the house/hip-hop/pop in a more mainstream club, but I
think club nights or more likely to be a success fi they focus on
providing a good atmosphere first and foremost... and then the best
possible music, second.

I do *not* agree that underagers would only go out because of the
music.  I'd say though that instead of "drink, get laid, music" as the
order of their priorities, it's "get laid, music, get laid, socialize,
get laid."

Disclaimer: Just my anecdotal opinion.  Of course there are exceptions
to such broad generalizations. My personal opinion does not in any way
reflect an "official" position of The Night Shift, Ceremony, or The
Upstage.
