The Sisters of Mercy, rock'n'roll band extraordinaire, industrial
groove machine, and extremely reluctant goth icon, tour North America
in February and March. There are always rumours about crazy things
like new albums, but if it's on the official site, it's probably true:

It's only major markets right now (D.C. and New York being the closest
to Pittsburgh) but I wouldn't be surprised if a Philly show appeared
or even one in Ohio. I wouldn't hold your breath for Pittsburgh, so
save up your vacation days and some travel expenses.
If you've got money to burn, the best show is very likely to be Las
Vegas, since (1) Andy loves Vegas and (2) The House of Blues there is
an amazing venue and (3) there is not much of a goth scene there, so
it is likely to be an intimate show. And, the weather will be nice.
I'll be ringing my travel agent shortly.
On Saturday, in celebration, expect to hear way more Sisters tracks
than any DJ (goth or otherwise) ought to play in one night. Oh, yes,
I'm DJing; so wear comfy shoes.
Brian (aka DJ Badtz)
