GARFIELD ARTWORKS HAS ALWAYS HAD A BATHROOM. Regardless of what you say.
There WAS a bathroom when you were there. There is a bathroom now. You are
wrong. Period. End of story. And it was alwasy easy to get drinks and eats,
when you *support the local businesses that are nearby* (2 convenience stores,
2 pizza shops dirt cheap $1/slice, a Vietnamese restaurant, an Indian
restaurant, and three bars to take out sixpacks, all within a block!). Now stop
spreading misinformation and slander. NOW.
I can't believe I have to defend my primary venue to someone who hardly ever
goes to any shows!
As for 'avoiding the joint' Eric, you may not want to take Jeremy David's word
for everything because he obviously has some kind of problem. I don't think he
understands the concept of doing a show in an 'art space' (that is, a venue
that is not a traditional 'nightclub'). Not every has had the diverse San
Francisco experience of shows in many kinds of venues. Maybe Jeremy David just
mentally can't handle it. I'm sure he hasn't 'bothered' to do a lot of things,
which is maybe why the experience of seeing a show in an art space, sitting on a
folding chair (no one forced you to sit down, we have plastic & wood chairs
too!), and watching people play computers instead of 'real instruments' scarred
him so horribly....Poor sheltered boy....
