requiem

In short, hell yeah.

Requiem makes amazing music. I consider my music to be darkambient (amongst
other things), but I'll be the first to say that what I do pales next to
Requiem. Very dark, looming, rumbling stuff. Reminds me a bit of Megaptera.

Dave has opened for Vidna Obmana, and performed as part of Hedra (another
amazing band, though long gone). He's also a pretty nice guy, from what I
can tell.
