But basically, he used a variety of fake identities online to commit
tens of thousands of dollars worth of mail fraud. While out on bond
he made matters worse for himself and then also got charged with
witness tampering. It sounds like he actually got off pretty easy
with only five years; the maximum sentence could've been 95 years in
federal prison and a fine of $1.5 million.
