I guess that if I put aside my "G/I political correctness" I have to admit
that I haven't cared much about either band for about ten years. But I
figure a lot of other people do. Me, given the choice, I'd go to the
CHROMEO show; it sounds interesting... it seems like I have an
"Electro-Retro curse" where every time I schedule to DJ there, I find out
there's some party or show I want to go to the same night!
Of course I haven't been to many shows period. Thanks to CMU's MSIT
program, I've been chained to a laptop most nights, even working on
homework during vacations, dinner parties, etc. (Oh whoa is me, I'm sure
all the other students on this list are so full of pity.)

Low blow there... I do own "more than a handful," just not enough to
justify regularly hauling a crate and turntable(s) along with ~500 CDs,
gear, headphones, etc. Especially now that the miracle of CD burners and
high-end DJ CD players make them mostly replaceable. Now if only somebody
could make DJing with CDs as *sexy* as vinyl, I'd be set!
