Birdman and Drag City recording artist from Phila
formerly of East Coast garage-psych legends The Original Sins
now purveying his solo psychedelic-folk songs
he could be considered one of the missing links in the 'weird' psych-folk
movement that's popping up today like mad (Devendra Banhart & the like)

FRODE GJERSTAD TRIO
three talented free-jazz musicians from Norway, including (other than
Mats Gustafsson) Scandinavia's premier avantjazz saxophonist Gjerstad,
who has worked with the likes of Cecil Taylor and Johnny Dyani.
Gjerstad was last seen here several years ago in a trio with William
Parker and Hamid Drake (remember that, at Bellefield Hall with Joe Morris
& William Hooker?).
this will be a nonstop 'blistering' one hour set.
