The funeral for the two city of Pittsburgh firefighters who died Saturday in the Ebenezer Baptist Church fire will be held Thursday, March 18, in St. Paul's Cathedral in Oakland. Because there are expected to be many people attending the funeral, traffic in and around the UPMC campus in Oakland will be affected. The UPMC Presbyterian Parking Office suggests that staff, visitors, and patients allow extra time if they are coming to Oakland tomorrow.
The Pittsburgh Police report that Fifth Avenue will be closed between Morewood Avenue and Bellefield Avenue from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow

No parking will be permitted on the west side of Craig Street or the south side of Bayard Street from 8 a.m. until after the funeral procession departs St. Paul's Cathedral. Only people who are attending the funeral will be able to park at Soldiers and Sailors Hall on Fifth Avenue.
