How short is "shortish"?  There are really natural looking extensions 
that clip in with tiny clips but you have to have enough hair to be 
able to cover the clips.  I've considered a wig for myself but the ones 
that look real are soooo expensive.  The other solutions I know of are 
more permanent and wreck your hair (weaves, etc) so I don't know what 
else to suggest.  Now, if you were looking for handcrafted jewelry or 
cosmetics, I could totally hook you up!
