An all-star tribute to Joe Strummer and the Clash will take place this
Saturday at the Rex Theatre. The doors open at 8PM with DJ Soulcialism
spinning north British soul and reggae sound stylings. I am lucky enough to
be the emcee and vocalist with the core band. The band hits the stage at
9PM playing the LP London Calling in it's entirity. That's right, the 12
piece band with many guest vocalists will play all four sides, no songs
skipped (not even a hidden track). The core band is made up of members of
ATS, Eleventh Hour, The Fontanes, The Spuds, The Mofones, the Affordable
Floors and more. Guest vocalists include Alex from Submachine, Patty
Pisula, Steve Morrison from the Affordable Floors, John Young, Ed Masley and
others.

More Soulcialism, then three more seven to nine song sets of Clash hits from
their catalog. The first set features members of Eleventh Hour and guests,
the next featuring ATS and friends and finally the core band back to close
the night.
