Shit yes. Penn Ave is already where it's at -- Project 1877, Modern 
Formations, Quiet Storm, Roboto (just off Penn), and I know there are a 
bunch others that I can't think of off the top of my head. Well, and 
the North Side (Warhol and Mattress Factory) and the South Side (The 
Rex and others). So fuck UPitt and all their idiocy.

As the P-G article mentioned, though, Laga is really the only place 
left to host shows with ~500 attendees, and I wonder what's gonna take 
its place. It would be a damned shame to have that whole segment of 
bands (too big for the small venues, not yet consumed by Clear Channel) 
just skip over Pgh because there's nowhere at all to play.
