The Cruxshadows are about to return to Europe for another month of dates
there, finally wrapping up their 2003 World Tour which began in June. Their last
show of 2003 will be in Philadelphia as they return from Europe and make their
way back home to Florida. The concert will happen on December 17th at
Nocturne, which takes place every Wednesday at Shampoo, 7th & Willow, Philadelphia.
The Cruxshadows' latest album, Ethernaut, was released on November 4th.

This will also be the official record release party for "All The Pieces," the
debut EP by Bow Ever Down,  who will also be performing at the show.  Tickets
are $10, available now through Digital Ferret, Ticketmaster, and
IsoTank.com.  This event is open to all ages; more information can be found at
http://www.ferret.com

Bow Ever Down's "All The Pieces" is actually quite brilliant. Released by the
band, this five track CD EP is their very first release, and shows not only
promise for the future, but actual talent and achievement in the present. The
lead vocalist offers clear, undistorted female vocals in the mid-low range,
which immediately give BED a fairly distinctive sound.  Occasional backup vocals
are twisted, harsh, distorted male vocals that serve as a strong counterpoint.
Programming is industrial/EBM, mostly aimed at the clubs, where BED is
destined for certain success.  Not much "future pop" here, although vocally and
lyrically, there are hints of gothic influence. If you're tired of EBM vocals done
by a bunch of guys with heavy German accents (or faking them), this will
likely be a breath of fresh air for you.
