Yeah...there really is nothing more spirit crushing than waiting for the always crowded 61C from Forward Avenue in Squirrel Hill, going to Oakland, then getting off and waiting for the 54C at Fifth and Atwood or even Bigelow for 45 minutes to get to the South Side which is basically within spitting distance. I mean, why would any of the buses be timed such that would be convenient for a transfer?! Grr. Stupid public transportation system.
 
(goes back to quietly plotting either an elaborate jewel heist or any car owner's death so that she can assume the identity of said car owner and, with a little bit of luck, drive their car in peace.)

because of course it would make sense if one
of the most useful busses in the city ran on a loop.

which it doesn't.

i took me 50minutes and a transfer to bus from the 
northside to the southside last night. even though i 
can _see_ it from my bedroom window.
