With the holiday season almost upon us, January still seems like a speck on
the horizon...and yet the next Dracula’s Ball is only two weeks away, on
Saturday, January 3rd (2004) in Philadelphia.

The biggest and best known dark music TV program in Germany is Onyx TV’s “
Schattenreich” program.  We’re pleased to announce that Schattenreich hostess
DJ Medusa and a colleague, DJ Gunter, will both be flying in from Germany to DJ
at the upcoming Dracula’s Ball and to shoot footage for the Schattenreich TV
program and a forthcoming Schattenreich DVD.

In addition to Medusa and Gunter, DJ Deathkiss will be joining us from all
the way out in Michigan, and two Philadelphia DJs will be joining forces in the
Velvet Underground room: DJ Zillah and DJ Danny Red.

In addition, this Dracula’s Ball will feature a live performance by
Pittsburgh band ThouShaltNot.  We’re also very pleased to welcome back Voltaire, a man
whose many talents include top notch animation (which he teaches
profesionally), comic book artistry, devastatingly witty satire, and splendid musical
skills.

Tickets for the Ball are just $13 and are on sale now  through Ticketmaster.
Those wishing to avoid large service charges may want to consider purchasing
tickets (and music!) through http://www.isotank.com as well as at Digital
Ferret CDs in Philadelphia (526 S. 5th St.)  Advance tickets, besides being
cheaper than paying at the door, will help move you through the line more quickly.

As always, Dracula’s Ball is all ages to enter, 21+ w/ID to drink. The Ball
begins at 9pm and ends at 2am. This Ball takes place at Shampoo Nighclub,
located at 7th & Willow Street in Philadelphia.  There is a large, enclosed, free
parking lot, but it fills up very quickly, so try to arrive when doors open.

Of course, there will be a delightful assortment of vendors and artists, plus
custom fangs by Midian, door prizes, and other treats.

for travellers, can be found at http://www.draculasball.com
